What is the GATE CSE qualifying cutoff?
The minimum marks (out of 100) needed to qualify GATE and receive a scorecard. Qualifying does not guarantee admission anywhere — institute admission cutoffs are much higher.
Is qualifying cutoff the same as admission cutoff?
No. Qualifying gets you a scorecard. IIT/NIT M.Tech admission happens via COAP/CCMT at far higher scores — often 2–3× the qualifying marks for top institutes.
